Shale Point has added a lactose-free camembert to its portfolio of delicious, handcrafted cheeses. This new addition is available exclusively through Royal Foods.

Recent research suggests that up to 25% of Australians, or roughly 6.7 million people, personally suffer from lactose sensitivity or live in a household with someone who does.

Shale Point Lactose Free Camembert is made from cow’s milk and maintains the same mushroomy flavours and creaminess of a traditional camembert. The only difference is that the lactose has been removed through the addition of the lactase enzyme during the production process.
