Delivering High Quality Service to Cornetts

The Cornetts Supermarket Group annual conference was a great opportunity for Andrew Hedditch and Adam Barrett to catch up and review our strategy for growing their business. Congratulations to everyone who was recognized at this year’s awards night. As Murgon IGA is our top store in the Cornetts Group, we’re delighted but not surprised, that Leighann Wessling and her team received the Store of the Year, Best Dairy Dept and Best Fruit & Veg Dept awards. Smart Eating Month @ Royal

At Royal Foods we made March our Smart Eating Month, sharing tips with staff on interpreting food labels and hosting grab & go breakfast buffets filled with healthy choices at each of our sites around the country.

Many breakfast foods are marketed as healthy, but we need to look past the claims on the front of the pack to the ingredients and nutrition information, to make more informed choices about what we are consuming.

Our Food Service Online ordering platform has a whole new look! We’ve upgraded the site with some great new features to enhance our customers experience.

We have improved product searchability for quicker navigation and added useful information and tools to help with decision making. Users also have a personal dashboard that includes tools for quickly creating their own lists and templates as well as managing orders and accounts.

The site is fully responsive on mobile and tablet too, making it easier to place orders at anytime from anywhere.

Hair-Raising Awareness for Bowel Cancer

The team at Royal Foods spent the month of December getting hairy for Bowel Cancer Australia’s awareness and fundraising campaign.

Almost 99% of bowel cancer cases can be treated successfully when detected in its earliest stage, so Royal Foods covered the cost of bowel-screen test kits for any member of staff who would like to get tested.

Our teams had a lot of fun challenging each other to get involved in DecemBEARD and DecembHAIR, with some hair-raising results! All in all we raised a total of $622 towards critical bowel cancer awareness, education, support and research.

We love getting involved with innovative brands and are excited to be spearheading the launch of Ravin’ Detachable rice crackers into Independent retailers and supermarkets across the Eastern seaboard states. In the three weeks since launch Ravin’ is already on the shelves of more than 300 outlets.

Arriba! Arriba! We’re celebrating one of our most successful launches ever!

We introduced the new Picante range of spicy Mexican dips from Simply Delish to Australia’s Independent supermarket trade just 8 weeks ago and they are already on the shelves of more than 400 stores across the country.

It’s a pleasure working with the team at Simply Delish to bring this fantastic range of innovative Mexican style dips to life in the Independent trade. The launch strategy orchestrated by Adam Barrett from Royal Foods and John Kouzoukas from Simply Delish has been an overwhelming success and a big congratulations to our retail sales team for executing it so successfully in what is a crowded and very competitive category.

Ladies Luncheon – $12,500 raised for charity!

Congratulations to the talented and tireless volunteers at the New Life Trust who raised over $12,500 at their fabulous Ladies Day on November 21st!
