Our purpose at Royal Foods is to enrich the lives of our customers, our people, our stakeholders and our community. Each year we give a portion of our profits to initiatives both locally and overseas that assist the vulnerable, especially children.
For over a decade we’ve been committed to working with charities that relieve poverty, sickness and distress of children, both locally and overseas. Members of our staff travel regularly to South East Asia to contribute to a variety of sustainable projects.
Many of our business partners and customers share our passion and support our fundraising initiatives for these charities.
We have committed to providing a regular donation to The Redland Community Centre in Queensland for their Homeless United program.
The program relies on the generosity of local businesses like ours to help them provide an evening meal to those in need. We are proud to be able to support this important initiative in our community, ensuring up to thirty people receive a hearty, healthy meal each night.

As we have done for many years, we continue to raise funds to support the daily running costs of the New Life Trust.
Established in 1992, The New Life Trust is a registered charity that cares for around 180 orphaned and abandoned children in three centres in Myanmar (formally known as Burma). To date, they have rescued and cared for more than 500 children.
Alongside the personal care of hundreds of children, further education and vocational training is also arranged to ensure every child will have a bright and productive future. To date, 230 children have been trained in vocational training, and a further 11 children have continued onto higher education.
An annual gala dinner held in Brisbane is our main fund-raising event and we are grateful for the strong support of many of our business partners and customers.
Since its inception we have been involved with Sanon Restaurant in Myanmar. Sanon is a training restaurant and bar for unemployed local youth. It is a ‘not for profit’, social enterprise organisation where any funds generated are reinvested back into the project. It is Sanon’s mission to each year train 30 students, find them employment and support them via a social worker for a further two years.
This project enables young people to build successful careers in the hospitality and tourism industries and in turn, benefit and return to their communities.
Again, we are appreciative of those in the Australian hospitality community who are partnering with us to offer their expertise and to assist with raising the funds that will help to put Sanon on a sustainable footing and educate many more youngsters in the years to come.
