The company was founded in 1989 under the banner of Royal Foods and over the past twenty three years has grown to become a well respected supplier of gourmet food to the food service and retail sectors in Queensland.

In September 2012, we acquired CDS Gourmet Foods in a strategic move to expand our food service business into New South Wales and Victoria.

Our new trading name of ROYALCDS reflects the joining of these two highly successful companies. Combining our expertise, product ranges and our strengths indifferent markets, will provide new product opportunities to help grow your business.

We have two key divisions:

  • Grocery Retail – customers include: IGA, Foodworks, Spar, gourmet deli's, fruit barns and supermarkets

  • Foodservice – customers include: 5 star hotels, corporate catering, clubs, coffee shops, and food manufacturers

2009 saw the Royal Foods family proudly celebrating twenty years of trading and working towards achieving the company's vision and respecting our core values of trust, humility, stewardship, responsibility, freedom, mutuality and continual improvement.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

HACCP

Royal Foods has developed a food safety programme based on the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) system. We have been a fully compliant HACCP facility since 1998.

Royal Foods is audited twice a year by SGS Certification Services in line with JAS-ANZ (Joint Accreditation System of Australia & New Zealand) guidelines.

An increasing number of Australian retailers, foodservice operators and hotel groups will only trade with suppliers who have successfully passed an independent food safety audit. We are proud to be approved suppliers of:
